A Challenging race weekend

Audi R8LMS GT3 evoROUND 3 SA Endurance Series

The team faced a challenging race weekend, with the Audi R8LMS GT3evo experiencing a spin that dropped them to P7. Charl Arangies valiantly fought his way up to P2 on lap 15 and took the lead by lap 41, which we maintained until the first pit stop on lap 51.

During the race, the safety car was deployed for approximately 49 minutes to repair the damaged barriers caused by an earlier accident.

A few laps after the restart, Arangies pitted for a driver change and fuel, allowing Brad Liebenberg to take over driving duties. Liebenberg skillfully managed to ascend to P1 by lap 64 and held the position until lap 90 when he was taken out by one of the slower competitors, triggering the deployment of the safety car.

Prize givingAfter the restart, the team reclaimed the second position and held it until their third pit stop, where Arnold Neveling took over driving duties. Neveling guided the team to the second position until 17 minutes from the end of the race, when they unfortunately dropped to finish third.s from the end of the race, when they unfortunately dropped to finish P3.
